The Field Museum of Natural History Experimental WWW Server is a site full of sounds, animations, hypertext and other multimedia elements put together to reveal secrets about evolution and the history of life. Here you will be able to access images of specimens from the Chicago museum's collection of over 20 million objects, or 'Take the Tour' of the current exhibition. Topics can include dinosaurs, early humanoids and early mammals, the first stirrings of life on this planet, and perhaps even prehistoric plants. There are also links to other exhibits at the museum, (for example, to the Javanese Mask Collection) and related sites and information.
